As of today, each piece sold from our Into the Blue Collection will directly recover and finance the cleanup of 5 kg (11 lbs) of ocean plastic. That is equivalent to 400 plastic bottles' worth of ocean-bound plastic.
Furthermore, each piece sold from our Into the Wild Collection plants 25 trees. Estimated to remove 307.5 kg (677.9 lbs) of CO₂ annually.

Ocean plastic cleanup
Plastic accumulating in our oceans and on our beaches has become a global crisis. At current rates, plastic is expected to outweigh all the fish in the sea by 2050. The cleanup takes place in both Africa and Asia. The work is carried out by Empower AS in collaboration with local partner organizations.
Empower AS operates in more than 15 countries, incentivizing plastic waste collection, kick-starting waste management systems, and building transparency in the supply chain. All plastic cleanup is carried out by local workers living in underprivileged communities.
By putting a value on the plastic, the waste pickers are given an opportunity to multiply their regular income, which translates into better health, better education for their children, and security.

The degradation and loss of forests threaten the survival of many species. Humans have destroyed and fragmented habitats of both tigers, jaguars, and leopards through deforestation.
Deforestation and forest degradation impact the lives of 1.6 billion people whose livelihoods depend on forests. One billion of them are among the world's poorest.
Eden Reforestation Projects (Eden) reduces extreme poverty and restores healthy forests by employing local people to plant millions of trees every year. Eden has more than 80 project sites in 6 countries.
